“Travis designed and created an entertainment center that covered my 106” tv. It houses all my components and huge speakers. Travis made it unfinished per my specs and it was all oak. Just beautiful. In addition, he installed a series of cabinets and built a 12’ bar, again all out of unfinished oak. The bar included an oak counter, and bar top with the oak armrest molding on it. It came out great. The best part was how nice, friendly and CLEAN they were. They always double checked with us and cleaned up after themselves very well.”

This project began with a pencil sketch of an idea I had when I first met Beth. She asked lots of questions to get a feel for what was important to me and was very attentive as we began the process of creating a plan for bookcases with bottom cabinets that would maximize space in our family room. “I hired Custom Wood Creations (CWC) to build the cabinetry and oversee subcontractors for the kitchen renovation of our 1830s farmhouse. One of the main reasons I chose them was because I had a very distinct vision for the space and, from day one, Beth and Travis demonstrated not only how knowledgeable and experienced they are but, as importantly, how well they listen. Over the course of many months of planning meetings, we worked in partnership on every aspect of the job. Whenever I needed guidance or a decision had to be made, Beth would send emails with information and photos, or drop samples and catalogs off at my home to help guide me along. The job involved some unique challenges and unknowns that required a lot of forethought and planning, yet not one detail was overlooked by this husband and wife “dream team.” We encountered obstacles, to be sure, but we worked together to find a solution for each of them. During the demolition and renovation, Beth, Travis, and all employees and subcontractors were a pleasure to have in my home and daily clean-up was done. CWC delivered everything and more that I’d hoped for in my new kitchen—on time and on budget. The quality of the cabinetry is superb, the finishes are flawless and everything functions just as it should. I’m glad to have this project behind me but, if I had to do it all over, I’d use Custom Wood Creations again in a heartbeat!”
